After breakfast at 8:00 am, you'll drive approximately 5-6 hours to Kibale National Park, arriving at the lodge around 1:00-2:00 pm for lunch.
In the afternoon, you'll have the option to visit Bigodi Wetland, a 4.5 km, up-to-three-hour walk through a rich and scenic wildlife corridor of Kibale Forest. Known as the "Home of the Great Blue Turaco," it's a birdwatcher's paradise with over 200 species, including hornbills, turacos, parrots, and cranes. The sanctuary is also home to eight primate species, black-and-white colobus, red colobus, red-tailed monkeys, grey-cheeked mangabeys, olive baboons, L'Hoest's monkeys, vervet monkeys, and blue monkeys, along with other mammals like sitatungas, bushbucks, and otters.
Dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.
